About me
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist with a background in Developmental Neuroscience. What "integrative" means is that I draw from a variety of theories and types of interventions, as well as my knowledge and experience of neuroscience, to tailor my work to each client. Human suffering often arises from relationships, the flip side being that a therapeutic relationship can be healing. At the core of my practice lies the therapeutic relationship, with the evidence-based view that this is key in bringing about positive change.
I offer short-term, long-term, and open-ended psychotherapy to individuals. I have worked with a wide range of clients, distinct in age, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnicity, faith, life-stage, profession, etc. Issues I have worked with include anxiety, depression, suicidality, eating disorders, substance abuse, self-harm, loss, divorce, bereavement, obsessive compulsion, hypochondria, phobias, trauma, bullying, life changes, low self-esteem, enmeshment, insecure attachment, physical or neuro-diversity.
